Swarming Ticks And Mosquitoes Cause Concern

Let’s face it! Mosquitoes are quite literally everywhere. There’s no escaping these pesky bugs and the problems they cause are only going to get worse. Large swarms of mosquitoes, mean that we need to take even more precautionary steps than ever to keep ourselves safe. Here’s an article about just why we need to be on the lookout and taking action.

CDC Warns of Growing Threat from Ticks and Mosquitoes

In a world where the joys of summer are often ruled by the threat of being bitten, the CDC is warning Americans to be vigilant. It expects the threat of tick or mosquito bites to be high this year. Looking at the recent past, 2004 to 2016, the CDC found that the number of people being infected by diseases from mosquitoes, ticks and fleas has tripled in the United States.

Ticks are the other common disease spreading pest that cause us ongoing concern.

The tiniest of creatures are causing such a great threat to our health. What are you doing to protect yourself from ticks and mosquitoes?

Take precautions against ticks and mosquitoes this summer, urge health officials

Officials aren’t sure whether this summer will be worse for biting insects such as mosquitos and ticks. It depends whether where you live has high humidity or standing water available.  The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention reported that diseases spread by mosquitoes, ticks and fleas tripled in the U.S. from 2004 to 2016. The report said Lyme disease from ticks is an increasing concern.

Don’t become a victim of a mosquito or tick borne virus. Always keep yourself protected, whether you believe the threat to be there or not. It just isn’t worth the risk of being exposed.
