Are you someone who often finds that even though you are exposed to mosquitoes, just like many others, that you are the one they decide to feast on? This is because mosquitoes actually do have a preference as to whom they choose as their next meal. However, there are ways that you can turn their appetite away from you.
Expert explains why mosquitoes are attracted to some people more than others
Mosquitoes are attracted to some people more than others, but if you fit their dinner menu, there are a couple ways to become unappetizing. First and foremost, mosquitoes are looking for an easy, safe meal, therefore they prefer hosts who are unaware they’re being bitten so they don’t interrupt the feeding process.
So is it true, that it can come down to what you wear, what you eat and what you drink that can cause a mosquito to decide you’re a feast among many? There are stories of bright clothing being attractive to these disease spreading pests and even them being partial to a beer.

So far, researchers have reported birth defects in 5 percent of infected pregnancies. For Zika-related microcephaly, its rate of incidence has increased 20–30 times the norm for this defect.
Never take for granted that you might not be appetizing to a mosquito. Always protect yourself, use repellent and invest in mosquito control for your home. Keep your family safe, because these suckers are hungry for your blood.
