It’s great to get nominated for an award! Especially when the nomination is put forward by one of your own employees.
Backyard Bug Patrol are proud to have been recognized as a Patriotic Employer by the Office of the Secretary of Defense. These awards are given by the U.S Government to employers for their support of their employees who serve in the National Guard and Reserve.
The Patriot Award reflects the efforts made to support citizen warriors through a wide-range of measures including flexible schedules, time off prior to and after deployment, caring for families, and granting leaves of absence if needed.
It is the highest recognition given by the U.S. Government to employers and therefore, something that we are honored to receive and enthusiastic to share with our audience.
Pictured is veteran and BBP employee, Justin Stream who nominated us for this award. Justin is presenting the plaque to John Mitchell, one of the founders of Backyard Bug Patrol.
This is Justin’s third year with BBP. Not pictured are veterans Tom Campbell and Jonathon Campbell. Tom has been with BBP since the inception of the company 7 years ago and Jonathon 4 years.
Proud times here at Backyard Bug Patrol, with many more we hope to come along in the future.
A fan of a nice cup of tea, a vintage camera, books, music, writing and meeting new and exciting people developing their own ventures.
