Christmas is a time to enjoy moments with family and friends and rejoice in life. However, for many that are suffering it can be extremely difficult, whether it be with sickness, poverty, loneliness or general difficulties, so it’s great to see those that are fortunate contributing a little to those that are not.
We wanted to take a moment to also think about all those suffering with mosquito borne diseases such as malaria, in parts of the world that don’t have the health care privileges that we do.
Redskins player Ryan Kerrigan visits patients at Children’s National during the annual “Ryan’s Reinder Rush”. What can you do this Christmas to help make someone else’s a little brighter? We don’t want to make you feel sad, we just want to spread a little awareness about those that are suffering, not just at this time of year, but all year through.
Backyard Bug Patrol would like to wish you all a very Merry Christmas. Let’s make it a great one to remember!
